Dr. Toan Thach

My name is Dr. Toan Thach, OD. I have been with Daly City Target Optical since its inception in 2010 (the very first Target Optical the Bay Area.) I've moved to the Bay Area for this job from my hometown of Long Beach. I've loved every moment of it for the last nine years. Being an Optometrist gives me the chance to meet and engage with so many people from all different social and economic backgrounds. The people of Bay Area are smart, active, passionate, and loving. I can't think of a place I rather be. I want to be a positive force in the community. One way I can achieve that is being a health care provider but I think more accurately is a health monitor-er (if there's such a word.) Eye examinations can detect so many health issues that most people are not aware of. Being in a commercial place like Target Optical allows me to help people who might have limited or no access to any kind health check. Our health care systems have many flaws, and I'm trying to be a positive force that help address some of that flaws.
