Dr. Anna Lam

About the Doctors
Dr. Anna Lam was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley, and she is the first in her family to attend college and pursue a graduate degree. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in General Biology and a minor in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Her passion for optometry developed during her time volunteering for the UCSD Shiley EyeMobile Clinic in which she had the chance to help many students see clearly for the first time. Dr. Lam received her Doctor of Optometry degree at Southern California College of Optometry at Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. Her clinical rotations included the VA Ambulatory Care Center, Center for the Partially Sighted, New Eyes, and the University Eye Care Center. Dr. Lam opened her first office in Moorpark in August 2015 and has brought her expertise to the city of Oxnard since July 2016. She was a sub-investigator for Dougherty Laser Vision under the Clinical Trial with ReVision Opticsâ?? Raindrop® Near Vision Inlay for Treating Presbyopia which has received FDA approval in 2016. Dr. Lam is a member of the Asian American Optometric Society.
In her spare time, Dr. Lam enjoys DIY-ing home projects, hiking, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Caroline Bui was born and raised in Simi Valley, California. Her choice to pursue optometry began when she received her first pair of glasses at ten years old. Her annual visits to her eye doctor for glasses and contact lens solidified her decision in optometry. Dr. Bui received her Bachelor of Science degree from University of California, Santa Cruz and earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts. During optometry school, she became involved with the Volunteer Optometric Service to Humanities. She had the opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic for a mission trip. She spent one week in Santo Domingo prescribing eyeglasses and managing a variety of ocular diseases to the underserved population. While in Boston, she did her training in the Veterans Affairs Boston Healthcare System, NECO Center for Eye Care with Specialty in Pediatrics and Contact Lens, Dimock Community Health Center, and New England Eye Center at Tufts Medical Center. After graduating, Dr. Bui moved back to Southern California with an interest in primary care. She enjoys seeing all age groups, from children to adults. She stays up to date with the latest new advances and technology through continuing education. Dr. Bui is a member of the American Optometric Association and California Optometric Association.
In her free time, Dr. Bui enjoys spending time with her cat, Haru. She is an avid hiker who likes to spend time outdoors and around nature.
